The Center Building is the Art Deco anchor to the residential revitalization of downtown Marion. The structure, whose construction began in 1946, originally sported a basement bowling alley, movie and performance theater, restaurant, and various offices and shops. After major renovations were completed in 2018, this building, comprising a whole block of town, now consists of 19 one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartment units, plus some retail/commercial space on the first floor.
Amenities include an elevator, on-site indoor parking in the renovated basement and in the theater, available storage units, security system, nearby dining options, high-speed internet, granite countertops, butcher block crafted out of the former bowling alley lanes, and all-new appliances in each unit, including a refrigerator, oven/stove, and washer/dryer, an exercise room, and a study hall. |
Smoking is not permitted anywhere upon the premises. Small quiet pets may be allowed, with suitable references and a small additional monthly fee. Apartments may be reserved by submitting a security deposit equal to one month's rent, after an application is approved.
